Taking Your Puppy Home

Taking one of our beautiful American Bullies home with you is an exciting journey, and we want to be sure you understand the process from beginning to end. Here’s what happens once you inquire about a puppy:

• You will be emailed a Puppy Adoption Questionnaire to complete. It is important to us that we understand your expectations and intent for owning a Built Ryte Bully puppy. This will help us to guide you through any questions you may have once your puppy is home with you, and to be confident that our puppies are placed in homes and environments that is suitable for their well-being. 
  
  
• Once we receive your completed Questionnaire and you are approved for adoption, you will be able to place a deposit to reserve your puppy or make full payment if your puppy is at the age it can be rehomed with you. We accept payments via PayPal, CashApp, or bank transfer through Zelle. 
  
  
• You will be emailed a signed contract (which you can download on our website before placing a deposit) to sign and return to us. A contract ensures your puppy pick, any deposits and payment arrangements made, and protects your interest in doing choosing to do business with us and guarantees you will receive a healthy puppy. We ask that you return the contract with your signature promptly upon receipt. 
  
  
• Your puppy pick simply means that you select the order in which you want to choose a puppy. If you would like to be the first to pick a puppy before everyone else, then you would pay and have a contract for the first pick puppy price. Likewise, if a you are happy being the last customer to pick from the litter, then you will pay the lowest price for a puppy from that litter. If puppies are beyond the age of 6 weeks and have not been reserved, there will instead be a set price for each puppy. 
  
  
• You will receive weekly litter updates to include pictures and videos. During this time we also will answer any questions you may have. 
  
  
• You will pick your puppy once they have reached 7 weeks of age. Most customers pick their puppies through pictures and videos. If you are local or within a reasonable driving distance to our kennel, you are welcome to make a visit and pick your puppy in person. 
  
  
• Once you pick your puppy at 7 weeks of age, you will continue to receive updates until your puppy is ready to be united with your family at 8 weeks of age. Puppies do not leave our care before 8 weeks of age; this allows for adequate socialization, deworming, vaccination and ensures a healthy immune system for the puppy’s new home environment. It is normal for a puppy to take a few days to adjust to its new world. Just be patient, give lots of belly rubs and yummy treats and we’re sure your bully buddy will get along just fine :-)

You can place a deposit to hold your pup any time. The remaining balance is due by the time the pup turns 6 weeks. Please download and review our puppy contract for the full deposit policy. 

We try to make the process as convenient as possible for all parties involved. We accept payment through CashApp, Zelle, or bank to bank transfer.
